So, I'll let you down right now ~ there's no actual elf in this post.
Our neighbors, The Old Company Store hosted an Elf on a Shelf day.... with big horses taking people for wagon rides, kettle corn, music the whole nine yards.... as well as children clad as elves leaping about on the side of the road, and perching in trees even....
They invited the Hubby and Cricket to go buzzing about, join the fun, and entertain the good people.
Fun for all ! Love the little wreath on the back of Crickets cart and he looks so cute as always showing the big horses how to do it right .
ReplyDeleteIN that fourth picture I can see the Clydesdale with a little bit of an upright look towards Crickets as he whispers to his buddy " That little horse is such a show off, just let me step on him once !" giggle
I think they thought he was a little horse shaped gnat ~ buzzing about! :)))))
DeleteAll the big horses seemed to be scared of the little horses??
Ha, the hubby must enjoy these parades a lot. A parade is no parade without 'our' Cricket and his human.;-)
ReplyDeleteI agree ~ there's definitely a pattern lately.... :))))))
DeleteHI, Honey Bee sent me over, and i am glad I came, you have the big and the little of horses here... love the shot of the rear of the wagon headed to the store... it yells Christmas Spirit... have fun in the parade and be really cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit! ~ and Yes!, we will try to channel our very best "cute" for next weekend!

DeleteWe'll all do our best to be as cute as possible! ~ and report back! :)))
(Of course small children dressed in tiny elf costumes could give us a run for our money.... ha ha )
Wonderful post ;o) Honey Bee told me to come by ;o) The cuteness award is your's this year too, for sure!!! ;o)
ReplyDeleteOnly time will tell.... Cricket was beat out of "cutest" by a tiny pet pig dressed as "ham and eggs" for the 4th of July parade.... ?? :)))))
DeleteWhat a fun day. I've had more fun this year just having or going to get togethers than anything else!
ReplyDeleteCindy Bee
I would never have pictured we were "parade" people... but we just can't seem to stop???
DeleteTis the season for all things festive!
What a sweet face on the Clydesdale in the last picture ( although they all have lovely faces).
ReplyDeleteAre you SURE you can't fit a real baby one under the Christmas tree for the hubs ... you know he has that BIG horse wish ;)
you should probably see the tree..... it's not THAT big.
DeletePlus, after Christmas morning it would have to go stay in YOUR yard... we're out of room! ..
