January 16th, 2011

Today would have been my Grandmother's 102 birthday.... Scott's Gramma, born the same year WILL be 102 in May.  Kind of remarkable to think of all that she's seen so far, the world has changed just a bit since 1909.
I don't have a lot to say today.... not in a good frame of mind at all lately.... so I figured i could share a few photos  instead. Until my cup runneth over with creativity and my heart is filled with joy again ~ I'll just poke along - one foot in front of the other and do the best I can to juggle the dozen balls i've been tossed; and maybe I'll  blog quietly in the twilight....

  1. What a lovely elegant lady she was, you wonder what she would make of the world today.
    Hope you feel better soon.
We all have spells when we feel fed up, just get the crafting stuff out and go for it.
I am going to start to make a quilt, use up some of my material. That way I forget how grey and dreary the days can be at this time of the year.

  2. What a great picture of your Grandma! Like she just popped out from an old glorious movie. You do look like her a little...

I am sorry you are not in the best of the moods. Neither am I but I am trying to at least be my normal self.

Hugs to you, my dear friend!

  3. What a pretty lady your grandmother was ... I can see her dancing in the old days ... the feather in her hair ... :-)
Try to stay focussed on the presence and the week will be over before you know it...
    Take care,
    Eve ;-)

My Grandmother does looks like she could have stepped of a film in the photo; I almost expect to see gangsters driving by in a really big black car... :)
