I'm sorry for the lack of description, but it won't let me type; it just puts a bunch of strange marks! ~~ One of the front gardens; Lucy in her new hammocks ~cheers to Heather for the good idea; a great blue heron admiring itself in my mother's windshield; bumble bees in the sedum, double morning glories (it won't let me delete one); and the little turtle Scott found! :)
I love the pictures! Lucy looks so happy in her new hammock! :) Are all those flowers in your gardens? That turtle is so small. Unreal! Thanks for sharing!
Nice pictures. The colour of the Morning Glories is fabulous. You can't miss them ;-) The turtle is awesome. How big do they get? Does it have such a long tail? Lucy is just adorable ... I love that little face of her.
That teeeeny little turtle will grow into a giant snapping turtle, that probably weights 30 pounds and be able bite thru a broom handle like it was butter... The Momma turtle goes inland and lays her eggs in the soft sand in the woods behind our house. The teeny babies hatch (by themselves), and then have to make there way the river (probably a quarter of a mile)all on their own... a long walk when your a little bigger than a quarter; thru the woods, across a road, over a hill, and the length of our yard to the river. *phewwwww*

Oh. a rat hammock. That is just so neat! I want one, too! I love the view at those wooden chairs!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a turtle like that! We don't have those in finnish gardens!
