Time for crafting on the icy cold days...
Hubby's newest wood carving.. |
A wee little pony of course! |
Look at this snappy fellow! |
"Who's he?" |
"You smell pretty good..." |
"You're nose....tastes like carrot...." |
"You give that back, that's my Mum's scarf!" |
"Whaaaat?" |
"You've got a fleck of carrot stuck to your face... let me get that for you...." |
"Oops...." |
"I don't want to alarm you.... but his head fell off." |
Rhubarb Bunny |
So I do have some art.... honest...but it's just so much fun to play in the snow.....
I'll be back again.... with some art. Really. :))))
WOW on the little horsey wood carving that is way way awesome ... is he taking orders that is REALLY fabulous !
ReplyDeleteCourse it's also pretty awesome that JoJo play with a cool snowman , that wears designer scarfs ~ super duper cute JoJo now that whole JoJo and the snowman thing should have been on Youtube ...I bet Ellen would have wanted him on her show after she saw it !
Of course always great to see Rubarb ~how beautiful can a bunny be ... that beautiful , he shines and shimmers like gold .
I'll check and see if another wee horse is possible! :)))) (carved, not live!)
DeleteI can see JoJo doing that little dance with Ellen now.... ha ha ha ha
Sorry Rhubarb with an "h" . :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful little carved horse ...looking forward to seeing your latest art work...but, I must say I am enjoying watching and reading your winter antics...Greetings...
ReplyDeleteSo much to do during hibernation season... and it goes by so quick! The snow is just so distracting....
Delete50+ degrees today though, so it's all melting and we are in a sea of "snow fog" ! Temp is going to drop later and we'll all be ice skating! ha ha ha I love New England! :))))
The wood ponny is really beautiful, the mane, wow, but mostly I love his happy face!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how long would that carrot last... just enought to take the pic? And where did the eyes and the mouth disappear? hahaha, I don' want to alarm you :) JoJo has a good sense of humor.
I really don't mind you making us wait for the arty part with interludes like this one :)) I hope you get the time to blog more often this year ;)
As you can imagine, ~ Blogging more is on my "to do" list.... ha ha ha
DeleteScott's new wooden pony is pretty cute huh? :)))))) I'm hoping he'll make a herd!
The wood carving is awesome. The hubby really has a talent for this.
ReplyDeleteDoes Rhubarb enjoy the snow?
Love the look on Alice's face. ;-)))
Rhubarb was a little confused at first ~ but I think once he realized he could dig in it, he got to enjoying it! ~ Alice has become a real snuggler lately, giving Phoebe a run for her money! :)))

Oh yes the bunny is gorgeous, I don't think I've seen one that colour before? You keep popping up with more creatures?.....how many do you have?? Did Jo Jo eat everything, looks like he quite enjoyed himself, my dog loves carrots, he would have had that, quick as a flash :) Loving the snow photos, lots of mud here, but mild :) My camera has been delayed, but will be here this week I hope, I'll be back :)
ReplyDeleteRhubarb is a "Satin" he's very sweet! Loves to run about!
DeleteJoJo ate all he could ~ and then pushed his head over..... ha ha ha
For a full roster of animals ~ click on the tab at the top, "All creatures Great and Small" (it's not about James Herriot, it's our "family" photos!) :)))))
It's gotten warm today and melted the snow, so we have slush/mud now ~ and back to freezing cold tonight, will get my skates out for morning commute.... :)))) ha ha

DeleteThis was all so adorable! What were the eyes made of? Such cuties are in your life!!
ReplyDeleteThe eyes "were" horse treats... until they lock licked from their sockets! ha ha ha
DeleteI love your animals. So cute. The snowman eating horse is hilarious. Would make a funny children's book somehow!
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying my poking about here. What a great blog. You're a talented illustrator that I can see. This was such a fun post, but not for the poor snowman. I'll be bringing my grandsons back to see this.
