Happy Halloween!

Well helloooooo ~ thank you for stopping by on this spooky October day!
Such a delightful season...
Did you hear something?
Don't worry....it's probably just the wind.
Probably.
 Hmmmmm ...
The rustling of leaves.....
Can seem scarier than it really is.
Maybe it was a flutter of wings you heard.
or maybe,
just maybe.....

it was just some adorable mice having a Halloween Party!!
It happens.
Clearly.

See?; it wasn't that scary after all!

Happy Halloween my friends!

  1. Happy Halloween to you Mel.... all your adorable mice and friends!
Those tree roots look as if they are creeping, and at quite a rate!
Hope you have a spooktacular treat of an evening!

  3. Happy Halloween (although a day late!). I too love those trees - yes they do look like they may drum those long fingers when no one is looking.

  6. What is that clustery red blossom? It looks very weird and very interesting! I loved your non scary Halloween post..,.even if that tree does look like it has large creepy toes poking out from the leaves on the ground. Careful! They might be looking to grab onto a hoof trotting by!!!!!! Such excellent photos!! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of little noises really being the sound of cute little mice juggling cheese and dancing. How wonderful is that? Very.

    1. If you mean the clump of red berries on the end of the stick (just under the photo of the marigolds) ~ it is the "fruit" that comes after the Jack in the Pulpit has gone by. Nature IS fabulous! (unless it tries to trip you for giggles!) Don't forget to leave some candy corn out for the mice... :))))))))))))
